Terms of Service
Last updated 13 September 2026
These terms cover your use of ConConnect. They're written to be read, so please do.
These terms
ConConnect is operated by Joshua Morrison. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.
What ConConnect is
ConConnect is a place for people in the concreting trade to publish work, find work, and keep track of the jobs they're on.
We are not a party to any agreement you make with another user. We don't employ you, we don't supervise the work, and we don't guarantee that a job will be offered, accepted, completed or paid for. Any arrangement about scope, price, hours or payment is between you and the other person.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and legally able to work in the construction industry in Australia. You must give accurate details when you sign up and keep them current.
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything done through your account.
Your obligations on the job
You are solely responsible for holding and maintaining everything the law requires for the work you take on, including:
- Licences, tickets, white cards and any trade registration.
- Public liability insurance and workers compensation where required.
- Work health and safety obligations on site.
- Your own tax, superannuation and ABN obligations.
We do not verify licences, insurance or qualifications. Any certifications shown on a profile were entered by that user. Satisfy yourself that someone is competent and covered before you hire them or step onto a site.
What the verified badge means
A verified badge means only that the account holds a current paid subscription. It is not a check of identity, licensing, insurance or quality of work, and should not be relied on as one.
Payment between users
Money for work is paid directly between the people involved. ConConnect does not hold funds, process those payments, or act as an escrow, and we are not responsible if someone doesn't pay you.
Amounts recorded in the app are your own records. They are not invoices and do not create any obligation on us.
Subscriptions
Some features require a paid plan. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms, not ours.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel through your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
If you downgrade a business plan below the number of members you have, the most recently added members lose access to the business's jobs until you upgrade again or remove someone. They keep their own data and can keep working their personal jobs.
We may change plan pricing or what a plan includes. If a change materially reduces what you're paying for, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
How you must behave
Don't do any of the following:
- Post work you don't intend to fill, or apply for work you don't intend to do.
- Misrepresent your identity, trades, experience or qualifications.
- Harass, abuse or discriminate against another user.
- Use another person's account, or scrape or bulk-collect other users' details.
- Use the app for anything unlawful.
We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you put into the app. You give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the service, for example showing your profile to someone deciding whether to hire you.
Files attached to a job, such as plans, are deleted 30 days after that job is completed.
Availability
We try to keep the app running but don't promise it will be available without interruption. Features may change or be withdrawn.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit our liability, we limit it to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of income, loss of work, or any indirect loss arising from your use of the app or from any dealing with another user.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that we're required to close by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we'll tell you in the app if a change is significant. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to the courts of that state having jurisdiction.
